Applying to the MGB/Harvard Medical School Sub-Internships in Urology

Sub-Internships

The MGB/Harvard Medical School Program in Urology offers sub-internships in Urology for third- and fourth-year medical students at the two academic sites.

Brigham and Women’s Hospital:

  • Diseases of the Genitourinary Tract (Course Number: SU518M.23a)

  • Urologic Oncology (Course Number: SU518M.23b)

Mass General Hospital:

  • Advanced Clinical Electives: 250-SU518M.3 - Clinical Urology

An additional sub-internship in pediatric and adult urology is offered by Boston Children’s Hospital (SU518M.J).

Application

Medical students interested in a visiting rotation in Urology at Brigham and Women's Hospital should:

  1. Please first contact Karen Bernstein, our education program manager, at BWHUroResidency@bwh.harvard.edu to discuss availability.

  2. After you have contacted Karen Bernstein, fill out an application via VSLO Application Service (link). You may also access the HMS Registrar website for further information. On your application, please be sure to specify that you would like to rotate at BWH.
