Our selection committee is particularly interested in your personal statement and letters of recommendation. Your personal statement should tell us about your unique qualities and experiences, why you have chosen urology and your goals in becoming a urologist.
A select number of candidates will be invited for interviews.
Interns and Residents are employed by Partners Healthcare System. We invite you to explore the trainee contract, policies and benefits offered through the Partners Office for Graduate Medical Education.
We will offer two virtual interview dates:
Interviews will occur over several dates in November and December. Dates will be released according to the guidelines set forth by the AUA Match.
All interviews this year will be conducted virtually.
Each application is reviewed in its entirety with a focus toward a combination of overall academic excellence, leadership ability, career development potential and personal character.
We interview approximately 35 to 40 candidates for the urology program each year. Although we receive applications from many well-qualified candidates, it is not possible to interview all who apply. Every effort is made to notify applicants of their interview status in a timely manner to allow adequate time to make travel arrangements.
Interview Dates
This year's urology residency interview dates have yet to be determined.
All interviews this year will be conducted virtually. Following the orientation session, each candidate will be interviewed by both the chairman and program director, followed by twenty-minute interviews with other Harvard faculty members. Brigham and Women's Hospital urology residents will be on hand throughout the day to visit informally with the candidates between interviews and to conduct hospital tours.
